The players are at it again curating at an elite level.. we came back to share some end summer vibes before fall gets here. Nate and I picked a couple of our standouts from the playlist and gave some thoughts on each track. As luck would have it each one of these top five songs us a dope visual to accompany the music. So let’s count em down..

5.John Wick by Trey Woods
Pasadena artist, Trey Wxxds comes through with a fire video for his new song John Wick (shoutout Novahouse.) Confident in his flow and clever with the similes, his verses blend seamlessly into this track..IF YOU WASTE MY TIME I CANT GET NO REFUND.. guarantee your time won’t be wasted with this one. -Jah
4. Love Jones by Leon Thomas & Tydolla$
Every part of this song is silk from the main vocal to the production to the background vocals and ad libs..this is “chefs kiss* Tydolla$ and Leon Thomas crooning californication cash shit is the vibe you didn’t know you needed but you’re welcome .. please enjoy loudly- Jah
3. Nothing Even Matters by Sir
Everything SiR makes sounds smooth…that’s his MO. He picks up right where he left off in this single, with a laid back vibe he does better than anyone. Play this on a Sunday morning or while you drive when the sun is going down…thank us later. -NateD
2. Kody Blu 31 by JID
It’s been four years since JID’s last album, and the growth he showed on his latest project was worth the wait. We’ve heard him sing a bit before, but never like THIS. The depth and soul on this track makes it a standout on an incredible album. -NateD
1. One of Us by Joey Bada$$ & Larry June
Brooklyns Finest and Yay areas Most Undeniable Player , Joey Bada$$ & Larry June link up for one of my favorite songs of this year.They Chillin in the Lap of Liz Diffin honeys in the truck got em lappin up” Every line droppin with game and effortless braggadocio. This is a standout track on Joey’s best work to date “2000” . Check it out if haven’t already.. there’s no skips and hip heads can play it and it won’t “scare the hoes” lol . -Jah
