Guess who’s spinning the block with a brand new playlist for the players!? Yes indeed, It’s Undnbl Jah and Nate D.. The new year has been slow on hip hop releases so we decided to switch it up this time. We put together a few of our favorite R&B releases from the last few months.. We included love ballads from Coco Jones, a new bop from Traetwothree, and long awaited new music from partynextdoor. So next time you take a ride with that special somebody, put this playlist on and let the music do the talking for you.

HER OLD FRIENDS- PARTYNEXTDOOR
- Party is back?! This is the second release we've gotten from the mysterious Toronto singer/ songwriter this year. Always one to keep a way too real single in the tuck, PND is talking certified player sh^t, again. Honestly, who else would say what we're thinking? or what we wish we had the heart to say...Either way let's hope we don't have another prolonged absence from partynextdoor after this track. It's clear he still can write a hit when he puts pen to pad. (UNDNBL JAH)
GOOD FOR NOW - CHIILD FT. LUCKY DAYE
- This is a little bit of a different vibe than what we’re used to from Lucky, but he still glides on this track with Chiiild. It has a bit of a laid back folk-pop style, like something you’d hear from Post Malone. Not sure if I’d want a whole project like this…but the versatility is definitely appreciated.(NATE D.)
FALLIN' - COCO JONES
- Something about Coco just feels like a throwback. ICU has gotten the most buzz, but her album “What I Didn’t Tell You” is a standout project front to back. She slows it down a little bit on this one…feels like a 2 a.m. vibe. (NATE D.)
GAMES WOMEN PLAY - YUNG BLEU
- Yung Bleu has solidified himself as one of the best R&B songwriters right now. Jaded lyrics over a stripped back beat…it’s a winning combo if you can pull it off. (NATE D.)
OUTSIDE LIKE THIS - TRAETWOTHREE
- If you've ever ran into yo ur ex unexpectedly out at the party, you're gonna feel this record. The "Out The District" artist is a refreshing sound amongst a sea of boring R&B. Traetwothree recounts a night out with the homies and everything that transpired. This is the type of talent that gets you to stop and listen. Play this in the whip and everybody in the car is going to ask, "Who is that?
